The AidFlex stand has become an important tool for me in self-rehabilitation after an injury. I have a fracture of the spine in the thoracic region with spinal cord injury and, accordingly, paraplegia of the lower extremities, I have been using a wheelchair for 15 years. Despite the fact that I have adapted to this situation, I try to continue my rehabilitation, AidFlex helps simplify this process:
- I use the AidFlex unit without outside help: I change seats, fix the knee joints, feet and pelvis and slowly rise with the help of the remote control / electric drive.
-I don't worry about my own safety — the braces hold my body securely in an upright position, even if I don't hold on with my hands.
- AidFlex helps to accelerate the lymph flow and improve blood circulation in the legs. I noticed that with regular use, swelling in the ankles decreases.
- On the simulator it is convenient not only to do physical activity on the body (with dumbbells, elastic bands, own weight), but also just standing up to work at a laptop, watch a movie, read a book - everything you need can be placed on a comfortable table.
— I hope that AidFlex will develop even more useful gadgets for the active life of people with disabilities.
